Bachata music and dance originated from the Dominican Republic and has its roots in Merengue, Bolero, and Cuban Son. At Baza Dance Studios, we have our own special flavour of Bachata classes - from our Beginner Intro course that starts you with the essentials of Bachata Moderna ("Modern Bachata") through to our higher levels that explore both Bachata Fusion and Bachata Sensual styles, we truly support students wishing to explore all aspects of social Bachata dancing.

Please ensure you are assessed if you are not a continuing Level 3 student - the next group assessment is on July 29. If you are currently in the Level 3 Sensual program you automatically qualify for the Level 3 Fusion course and vice versa. Individual assessments are not available at this time - students who are not able to attend the assessment date but wish to level up must wait until all other assessed and returning students have an opportunity to register and then will be considered according to the ratio (lead to follow) and capacity numbers.

Please ensure you are assessed if you are not a continuing Level 4 FUSION student - the next group assessment is on July 29. Please note if you are currently in the Level 4 Sensual program but new to the Level 4 Fusion program you must still be assessed for the Fusion program. Individual assessments are not available at this time - students who are not able to attend the assessment date but wish to level up must wait until all other assessed and returning students have an opportunity to register and then will be considered according to the ratio (lead to follow) and capacity numbers.

Please ensure you are assessed if you are not a continuing Level 4 Sensual student - the next group assessment is on July 29.
